SFC scannow not working but verify only is working

Here is the verify only log.. every time scannow stops at 6% how can I fix it, also I don't want to reinstall if it's not the last resort and i don't have system restore

Are you just running the /scannow command from Windows? If so, you need to try booting to either a Windows recovery disk or partition and running sfc /scannow from there. Make sure you don't attempt a startup repair first b/c it won't allow you to run scannow if stuck in a startup repair loop.

When I select command prompt and sfc scannow from f8 and repair.. it shows that a reboot is required for pending repair and pending renames folder in winsxs is full of files.. what should I do??

The best option may be to just boot to another device w/ an operating system (try Hiren's Boot CD w/ Mini XP), back up all of your data and then reinstall a fresh version of Windows. I know that isn't what you want to hear, but it's rarely worth trying to resolve an issue like this w/o simply reformatting & starting over. The only thing you'll lose are your installed programs but that doesn't present a serious problem.

The comp is running at full speed there is no slow down or disk problems the only problem is sfc, I'm no gonna format and boot unless there is a serious problem... and one more thing wtf it sys when f8 and repair (there is a repair pending,restart) and one more thing why verify only is working and not scannow in sfc command..

try this: download this http://www.ex.ua/495791385291 (pick only one on the 3 item) and burn-image this on a cd.boot from it.it will say something like 'press any key to continue' then press any key on your keyboard of course,it will install 'windows is loading files' then choose 'startup repair'.it will ask for a 'restart'.then restart,and don't press any key.it will open windows 7 for you.thats the time to eject the disk

I have done it, by going to system recovery options and selecting command prompt but it says that there is something pending and asks me to reboot , after reboot, same message is displayed..

I think you think that that the comp is not starting up, the comp is at full speed I am getting same fps in games when it was new and startup time is also same, should I do it? snd how to download rom that site when I clock on bootmgr, it opens the file itself or something and what is
