Dear Experts---are there any SFF systems, self-built or already assembled at reasonable prices, that support 64GB or more of RAM? (this is for large data set analyses.) I will run linux and R on it.
I like the integration of shuttle sff, but I couldn't see a 64 or 128 GB RAM system.
does it make sense to wait 3 months right now, more than it makes ever sense to wait 3 months? (i.e., anything interesting coming out very soon?)
one reasonably fast processor, 4 core, is ok, though 2 processors would be good, too. half my workload is single-threaded, the other half is multi-threaded.
