Question Shadow flickering and black lines

I am having strange shadow issues in rdr 2 as well as black lines in games like fortnite and call of duty when alt-tabbing in and out.

Specs:
Rtx 2080 ti (gpu)
i7 9700k(cpu)
Evga supernova 650 gold(psu)
Asus tuf z370 plus gaming(motherboard)
Corsair vengeance ddr4, 16gb(ram)
Asus rog swift pg279q gsync monitor

I’ve tried resetting and reinstalling drivers, also checked the temp on both gpu and cpu, both pretty good temps, assumed it was a graphics card issue so i ended up rmaing, used a 970 gpu while waiting and still the same issues. I’m out of ideas and i’m not sure if ram or cpu could be causing visual issues in my video games.

update the bios of the motherboard

try a different video cable

use ddu uninstaller to remove all drivers and reinstall the latest nvidia.com driver

any other applications running in the back of the games? Like browser, videoplayer,...

Is your CPU overclocked? Your RAM?

No more bios updates for my motherboard

Tried a different DP

Already tried DDU

I make sure every program is closed

I think cpu might be overclocked, my cpu goes up to 4.60 ghz and it's advertised up to 4.9ghz I don't really mess around with overclocking though.

I do have a g sync monitor, can that cause any issues?

I have the same issue with RDR2. My motherboard is running almost 3 years old BIOS but I am afraid to flash a new version cuz I dont have a UPS. How long does BIOS update take ?
