Shadowplay wont detect League of legends

Ok, so shadowplay works fine with other games such as bioshock infinite, but on league it doesnt do anything, not even a status indicator.

THINGS I'VE DONE:
Optimised
Launched game from Geforce experience
Updated Geforce experience

EDIT 1: The FPS counter displays on the screen while on the Launcher and ingame, nothing from the status indicator.

Make sure your drivers are up to date inclusive of your chipset while also checking to see if your BIOS is the latest. Uninstall and reinstall ShadowPlay. You may also want to check this out.
