Shall I buy the Ryzen 1600x or 1600?

Hey guys!
I am building myself a new pc and i can't decide between the Ryzen 1600x and the 1600.

I will use it mostly for gaming and some university-stuff. As GPU I have an Asus Strix GTX 1060 and I will most likely play at 1080p for the next few years.

Basically my main question is, if the 1600x is worth the premium, or if the 1600 with the wraith cooler is the better deal?

I would go with the 1600, save yourself some money, it will easily overclock to 1600X speeds or near enough, even a lot of reviewers are even saying the X versions are just not worth it.

1600 is VFM among the two , but bear in mind if u plan to max oc 24/7 you would still need an aftermarket cooler with 1600

Is a good overclock hard to achieve, for a beginner?
I know it might be a dumb question, so I apologize for it, but I am totally unexperienced when it comes to overclocking.

Dead easy on ryzen, the only thing you need to change is the multiplier in the bios and set CPU voltages to normal, even for a beginner, or just use the ryZen master software in Windows, download from the AMD website, 3.6ghz - 3.7ghz is possible with the stock cooler, anything higher you would need a better cooler.
