I recently put a post up asking about connecting my PSU to 2 660 Ti's.
Here is my setup:
CPU - Intel i7 2600 @3.40GHz
GPU - EVGA NVIDIA GTX 660 Ti
RAM - 8GB (Speed: PC3-10600 MB/sec,Type: DDR3-1333)
Motherboard - MSI Z77A-G45
PSU - OCZ-ZS650W-UK ATX 650w PSU
HDD - 2TB (Interface: SATA, Rotational Speed: 5400 RPM)
Blu ray disk drive (not sure about specs)
Case- Zalman Z11 Plus

660 Ti's require 2 6pin pcie connectors each, my current PSU only has 2 6pin pcie connectors..
Someone said I should use these cables that come with my gpu - http://virtuapin.net/images/adapter-2x-molex-6pin.jpg

But should I use them or buy a used PSU (one month old) from someone in my area?
He's got one of these - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Corsair-CX750-750W-CX-Builder-Series-80-PLUS-Bronze-ATX-EPS-Power-Supply-PSU-/360695262099#vi-content

He said he'd take £45 for it.

This PSU has 4x8pin Pcie connectors so that's definitely enough! (How do I connect 8pin connectors to a 6 pin card though?)

Thanks for your help guys!

Solution
Corsair only uses (6+2)-pin PCI-E power connectors on all of their their current power supply units.

See the picture below. On the left is the 75 Watt 6-pin PCI-E power connector. On the right is the 150 Watt (6+2)-pin PCI-E power Connector.

If you only need the 6-pin portion of the (6+2)-pin connector then you just leave the +2 pin portion unconnected.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, but what about the 4x8 pin pcie cables? I only need 4 6 pins?

You again!
Haha thanks man, I literally noticed that 2 minutes ago, I was looking for unboxing videos but couldn't find any where they show the PCI-e connectors!
This will be fully compatible with all of my components then right? The motherboard is 24 pin so that's compatible, anything else I have to take into account?

There is nothing proprietary. All of the power connectors on the Corsair CX700 adhere to industry standards.

Great!
I will either buy it for £45 or ask if I can trade him my PSU and £15, is that a fair deal?

Yeah, seems that way! But still, £45 for a PSU like that is a pretty awesome deal!

Thanks for your help again man!
