Share keyboard and mouse hardware

Hello,
is there a device that will act like synergy without attracting the attention of the I.T. security police???

if there is a valid reason for requiring one mouse and one keyboard controlling two or more systems then IT should be more than willing to install it for you. if they don't understand the reasoning then explain it. remember, their computers.. their rules.

if you're trying to install it without them knowing, or trying to find a workaround just for mischief then don't be suprised if they come looking for you. though, most IT people would only find the program if they actually look for user installed software on a regular basis.

not trying to circumvent i.t.
out company has over 500,000 employees and thus it is difficult for them to serve all of our needs, but they are open to new suggestions if the solutions presented fit within their boundaries...
