Shared Folder, No User Account & Password Prompt?

Hello,

I recently created a folder on one computer in my local network and went to properties to make is shareable over the local network. On another computer in the same network, I connect to it with the path given on the shared folder on computer 1. Once I type that path in file explorer on computer 2 I don't get prompted for a user name and password.

How do I make it so that it prompts me for a user name and password?

If I have already entered the credentials of the computer with the shared folder, I'll have to restart my computer and then navigate to the shared folder on the network again in order for the login screen to pop back up, correct?

not sure about that, windows should remmember it for a few, i dont network that much, i usualy mount folders as network drives which allows to store login
