Question Shared Google Drive file is not accesssible to the intended person

Hello all,

Greetings.

A friend of mine requested the video I had about the recent family function.

The video is exactly 2GB in size as it was shot in high resolution.

I uploaded it to my Google Drive and later shared the folder with my friend using his email address.

He got the message successfully about the share and can view the file too through his Google Drive.

The weird this is when he is choosing the option to download the video Google Drive denies for it.

I am attaching a screenshot of the error page that he gets.

Please suggest how I can make the file accessible to him.

Also, I am not sure under which section I need to post this thread so it would be helpful if the moderators move the post in the appropriate category.

I am really worried about this inefficiency of Google Drive.

Please guide me with this.

Hi, make sure that he is signed in with ONLY 1 account. He might want to clear cookies and restart his browser and try again. That will log him out of all other accounts.

Or try "Incognito Mode" in the browser.
