Sharing a folder across a network using Windows XP could use some help.

I'm trying to share a folder or a HDD over my home network (hopefully wired and wireless). My host computer is using a 250GB HDD hooked up to a Promise Raid Card. Windows XP features are out dated so i'm having problems with this, my host PC has Windows XP Professional and the client is mainly my Windows 10 gaming rig, but hopefully also my laptop and such if people can help that would be great

Do you need read-only or RW permission?

Are you sharing the whole drive or just specific folders?
