Hey everyone, everything good?
So I have a problem here in sharing files and a printer with different versions of Windows. I have two machines with Win7 and one with 10 (only one of them, with Win7, is a laptop, others are desktops) but they do not "see" each other. I even found a tutorial by microsoft itself on this subject, I thought I would have no problems, but it will simply not work. When I choose which computers will share the folder, those PCs aren't there in the list. The same thing happens when you share the printer. The printer does not appear. -\

Note1:. I'm trying to do everything by the Wi-Fi network, without cables
Note 2: The tutorial I followed is this: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/sharing-files-printers-help#sharing-files-and-printers=windows-7&v1h=win81tab1&v2h=win7tab1&v3h=winvistatab1

I share folders and printers, and it works whether you have cable connections or WiFi ones. Bear in mind that some older printers aren't supported for Windows 10 sharing. E.g. I have a Samsung ML-2525 laser printer connected to a Windows 7 PC that can't be shared with Windows 10 because the folks at Samsung haven't provided a Windows 10 compatible driver. To get around that, I just got a wireless printer (Samsung ML-2160); I think I paid about $55 for it.

Good luck.
