Question Sharing folders from my PC to my SmartTV issues

So ive got a strange issue ...

I own a Samsung SmartTV, bought it a couple years ago.
I wanted to be able to watch movies stored on my PC and was able to share my movies folder with my tv by creating a new library with the movies folder.

I could then go to "videos" category on the TV and then to "Folders" and there it was, my movies folder and all its content.

Worked fine until a few days ago.

Now the "movies" folder is gone, i can no longer see it on my TV.

I can however see part of its content scattered throughout the various folders see in my TV like in "Series" "All Videos" etc.

Its a mess and I cant see all my files there. I checked my sharing options and all seem to be ok, dlna server is enabled, the movies folder is shared, its present in the libraries folder etc.

Ive been trying to fix this for the past few days. It worked until few days ago and then just stopped working ... Nothing changed, same PC, same network, same tv etc.

Sorry, i cant explain this better ...
Maybe someone can give me some suggestions as to what to try ..

PC: full system hardware specs and OS?

Nothing at all viewable?

May have been some automatic update that resulted in folder/file corruption.

Do you have a backup copy of the movie folder?

Do you have another smart TV to test with?

Determine if the problem is the TV or the PC.

It fixed itself apparently ... I dont even know anymore.
