I recently built a new PC, and opted to save the money I'd use for the wireless adapter, especially knowing that I'll have a good wired connection in a few months. It worked fine for a few weeks (both computers were using Windows 8.1) and even after upgrading both to 10. On 10, I did the Windows updates and all, everything worked fine, but suddenly the connection on my PC showed up as 'limited'. The laptop still has a good connection. I went to re-check the settings to make sure that something hadn't disabled the connection sharing, but nothing had. I tried various other ethernet cables, to no avail. I'm not sure what to do now; I won't be getting a wired connection for another month, making my PC effectively useless until that time. It would be great if any of you could help.
