[SOLVED] Sharing the internet from one desktop to another(possible?)

So I recently shifted my PC to the basement and in order to get good LAN connectivity with proper wiring we did a bit of conduit wiring which was a really tough process to get the lan cable from the router in the rome above tye basement. The lan cable runs all the way from the router upstairs to my pc downstairs. Now, I have added another pc downstairs for a dual pc streaming setup. Is it possible to connect my gaming pc which has the lan cable in it to the second pc somehow through. wire of some sort? Sorry, big noob here

There is a function microsoft calls ICS that lets you use your PC as sort of a router.

Still I would agree with the above recommendation buy a inexpensive switch and things will work much better.

If having 2 network ports, you can also set up that computer as a network bridge.
