[SOLVED] shark fin antena

Guys..im using asus rog maximus XI Formula motherboard..it comes with a shark fin antena,is it necessary to use it?cause i can still get wifi connection without plugging in the antena, or does it improve the wifi stability?

You can get a signal without, but it is weaker and not as stable... use the antenna!

save yourself the headaches and slow speed and just use a hard line connection. that is always the best option otherwise yes of course you need to use the antenna if you want even decent connection speeds and if you cannot use hard line connection i would suggest you look into a power-line adapter for Ethernet.
