I can't say I'd be comfortable myself, but as long as all parts are under warranty I guess you could risk it. People around here are very cautious about power supplies, but it isnt going to kill you lol.
Upgrade your PSU first. You'll be kicking yourself if not spending $50 on a Tier One/Two PSU ends up costing you your whole system. And it's too good to risk imo.
But would you say it's like so important it has to be this week? Or can it wait. Other people are saying it can kill me and stuff and I just wonder, can't it like wait for a month or so?
I contacted the store I bought it from and they are willing to test it for defects, and will give me a new one if it's found to be defect.
Thanks for the advice! You're one that doesn't start making me panic like the others. I understand I made the wrong choice but people expect me to have the funds to buy one for 100 dollars+ the same day. I made a mistake but it can't be that bad, right?
