So I need a new shaver. I've already been through 2 this year alone. Last Christmas I got a Remington Rotary Shaver. I didn't like it at all. I didn't like the mechanism. It just had to touch my skin before it pulled the hair - instantly. It wasn't nice to use.
It had to go.

My hairdresser uses Wahl Trimmers, and I really liked them. They gave me a close shave and didn't pull at all. So I asked my hairdresser how I could get one, so she ordered it for me and I paid for it.

At first I liked it. But then after awhile I noticed that started to pull too. I thought it must be getting clogged up, so I decided to get a screwdriver, open it up, and clean out the insides. I then washed it out with water to clean it even more (yes, that may have
been a bit stupid). And, when I tried to turn it on, nothing happened..

I took it to my hairdresser and she had a look at it, and I explained what happened. She said that as I had taken it apart, the warranty was now void, so I could not try to get it fixed or get a replacement from Wahl.
As a result, she recommended having a look at Argos where Shavers are sold for as little as £10 and up.

Argos sell all four types of Shavers.
I have not tried a Linear Shaver before, so I don't know what that's like, but I definetely want to stay away from Rotary Shavers and Remmington Products.

So I'm wondering, which type of Shaver do you guys think is best, and which type/brand/model is best for not pulling the hairs? I would also like to not go above £50 budget.

Please Advise.
