Hello,
i bouth a new router and ethernet cables as i did some changes so i needed longer cables. But the patch cable and ethernet cables are different than my old ones, i was using cat5 upt and the new cables are cat6 ftp. I was looking whats the difference between utp and ftp, that the ftp are shielded and must be grounded or it can cause serious dmg to network. But the routher nor my NICs support that feature, interesting that router do not support it but patch cable packed with it is ftp My question if I should buy UTP cables as my network do not support grounding? Or i can use the ftp cables?
