Permanently deleted (Shift+Del) some big video files from my HDD and now cant recover them.
Have already tried
  • Recuva.
  • PC Inspector File Recovery.
  • TestDisk and PhotoRec
None of these software is able to find those specific Files.
Recuva doesnt show anything deleted, even after deep scan. it just shows nothing
PC inspector is giving this error: "access violation at address 004bf0a9"
TestDisk isnt also recovering those files. its able to recover videos deleted from 2 years ago just fine
But the files i deleted just couple of minutes ago are somehow vanished.

Its not a system drive and no program is installed on the drive.
I am certain nothing major has been written on the drive yet.
HELP.

Solution
"nothing major has been written "
Meaning some things HAVE been written to it.

Shift-Delete bypasses the recycle bin.
If what you're tried has not retrieved anything...they are gone.

This is why we have backups.

Possibly try Autopsy.

i copied 1 folder containing 2 txt files
i am talking maybe 10KB max(txt files)
thats all that i know of

anyway just remembered that i moved those video files from my SD card and i haven't used the card in anything yet.
So going to try and recover the files from that.

Thanks for your help.
