Recently my computer has been recognizing as if my shift key is held down Everytime I click on anything in chrome it opens a new tab if im playing overwatch is uses my shift ability
Things ive tried
uninstalled all keyboard drivers
tried different keyboards
made sure everything in ease of access is turned off
restarted plenty of times seems to fix it for a little bit

it seems to me like when i uninstall the drivers and replug my keyboard in it does well until razer synapse opens up

i have a deathstalker keyboard

Razer synapse... have you got latest version?

seems its likely to be a feature of synapse: https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/2zcuaj/sticking_keys_blackwidow_chroma/

I guess you need synapse running to set macros. Otherwise I would just not run it. I had a Blackwidow up until June when my W key stopped working entirely. Razor software is bad, their hardware isn't bad though. shame really.

Im guessing its my keyboards drivers that are messing up. I have the latest version of synapse. Ive tried deleting and reinstalling them. I wish I could just not run it but everytime my keyboard gets plugged in or everytime I delete the drivers after a bit it senses it and opens synapse.

uninstall synapse? you can use keyboard just as easy without it. all its helpful for it updates for drivers and firmware for keyboard.

If Logitech gaming software didn't control the color scheme of my keyboard I wouldn't use it.

There must still be something installed. This isn't exact problem but shows which files to remove:
Please kindly uninstall both Razer Synapse and Razer Core from your PC and delete all files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Razer and C:\ProgramData\Razer directories. These folders are hidden by default, so please be sure to unhide them. We want to ensure that there are no residual files remaining that may corrupt your installation. This is important so please kindly do so. Restart your computer afterwards.
Go into device manager, go to Keyboards/Audio inputs and outputs/Mouse and other pointing devices, uninstall HID Keyboard/Mouse Drivers and all other Razer product drivers, and restart your PC. Be sure to select delete drivers as well when uninstalling. Restart your computer again.
Turn off all Firewall and Anti-virus software to prevent any conflicts. Download and install the latest version of Microsoft .NET Framework (4.5 or higher) at http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653 (In some cases, you may need to uninstall the older version on your system). Then, install the latest version of Razer Synapse that can be downloaded here:
