I've been playing the Witcher 2 Recently and, I've noticed a ton of issues with shimmer and Flickering.
I know it's a bit of an older game but does anyone know how I can fix the Shimmering, It can be very distracting.
I run the game maxed at 1080p without Ubersampling.
I'm also having some issues with Pop-In as well.
I've watched a few Youtube videos and as far as I can tell, Both the shimmer and the Pop-In seemingly happen to everyone who plays The Witcher 2 but it still really bugs me.
I have no issues with any other games so It's not an issue with my System

Thanks

Sorry to say, but that's just the game engine, it has some odd lighting effects.

You can try disabling light shafts, depth of field and blur effects in the options menu, maybe that will help. Or just use process of elimination on all the graphical settings, not the most efficient process, but it works

So It's Normal?
I Guess I can live with it but I might mess with Mods
Just want to make sure everyone else also gets it

Ok, thank you, any idea how to fix the Pop-In?

Depends on how bad the pop-in is. When you turn the camera fast, do most of the textures have to reload? Or is it just buildings and people in the distance coming into view, which is perfectly normal.

Also, what are the specs of your computer?

It's just objects and pieces of Architecture that Pop. It's noticeable with Market stalls and such

I have a GTX 970 G1(Stock) and an i5 4690k(Stock).
With the game maxed at 1080p without Ubersampling. I get around 110 Fps AVG
I locked it to 60 With V-Sync though because I was getting a bit of tearing
