I just got a new PC. Its an alienware with a 3070 graphics card. I have a gsync monitor set up.
In COD:Warzone, I get this shimmering effect on some of the edges and fine details. For instance, on a tree branch at distance viewed through a scope. the branch will have a invisible portion (or more than one) that propogates down the branch quickly. It looks like the effect when its hot out and you are viewing something at a distance above a road or something.
Detecting movement is a key part of the game and with all this shimmering its making it difficult.
What are some things I can try to get a stable view?
edit: Maybe ripple would be a better description
edit2: after looking at similar threads I started paying attention to the shadows. those are also weird. moving and rippling as well on a larger scale.
