Shipping a desktop computer

I'm shipping a desktop computer to my friend and i would like to know if canned expanding foam would work for shipping everything in one piece im putting the stock cooler on and maybe putting the gpu in separate box but i dont want to spend like $200 on shipping. Any suggestions would help be greatly.

put a bunch of paper tightly compact in the inside and put it in a box and fill all the empty space with bubble wrap.

Can also try air bags. I got a power supply shipped with air bags and it was fine.

a computer isn't really that fragile lol I can rop my pc from a 15 foot drop and I really would have extreme high hopes of it booting.
