Shipping to Germany, any tax concern ?

I bought something from Germany, (not hardware) i am in China, which has some defect and I want to ship back to the German manufacturer for repair, we have agreed.

However we would like to know if there would be any custom tax during German clearance ?
Will I have to include a photocopy of the original invoice inside the package?
