So I'm building a new PC, but i dont know where to buy it from. Both Newegg and NCIX have about the same price for the components. Which one ships faster and costs the less money for shipping + taxes? I live in the Montreal area by the way.
The shipping price depends on how much you are willing to pay. If you don't care, either one would be great, but if you want super-fast shipping, NCIX is the way tog o, but note that you'll have to spend big bucks to get One-Day shipping.

Both NCIX and Newegg have warehouses in Ontario (Greater Toronto), so checking the stock levels (at least with NCIX) will give you a guess as to whether they could process the order from Ontario, rather than elsewhere. NCIX's other warehouses are in BC, Vancouver and surrounding - which would be obviously slower, and I am not sure about Newegg.
I did have one medium sized order from Newegg.ca where the order was filled from two different warehouses, both in Mississauga, and was billed for each shipment separately. Admittedly it was quick, but any sale price savings were eaten by the added shipping costs. By the same token, I didn't watch the shipping costs in the checkout closely; they weren't hiding the cost.
