Shogun 2 Crash in Windows 10

So 'Total War: Shogun II' has been crashing at startup no matter what I do. I've cleared files that people recommended I clear and I've done several steps that sites have recommended (including these websites: http://goo.gl/gx8BJb and http://goo.gl/kfkEZE) yet nothing has worked.
I've decided to save the Windows event log and post it here in hopes that someone can decode what the event is tying to tell me:

Hi,

Please do try these following troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Start by uninstalling Total War: Shogun II from Programs and Features.
- Next is to delete all the left traces from folders where it was installed.
- Press the Windows key + R at the same time then type %appdata% and click OK. Delete any folder related to the game that was uninstalled.
- Press the Windows key + R again then this time type in %temp% and click OK. Delete everything in that window just leave those that can't be deleted.
- Reboot your PC and after the reboot install Total War: Shogun II again.
