Shogun 2 Keeps on Crashing

I just got Shogun 2 Fall of the Samuri. Ever since I got it the game has been crashing. Before I got the add on everything ran smoothly and I didn't have any problems. It usually happens during custom battles or campaign battles that I fight manually. I have tried going down from ultra to high settings but it hasn't helped. I could run ultra before just fine. Should I try disabling the intel graphics?

8gb DDR3 Ram

Hi EnticingMOon,

Hope all is well try this:

Right click on your steam game that is crashing click on the properties tab & then click on and click on the verifying game cache it should take 2 minutes with an i5 perhaps even less.

This should resolve the crash issue you are experiencing.

Your specs should not be a problem for that old game I just started playing Shogun 2 again for the first time since launch (lost my disks and didn't want to download it).
