Hi,

I need a scanner just to scan invoices, manuals,...
Black/white is OK
I prefer that output can be set to PDF.
I also want to scan multiple pages into one PDF file.

What kind of scanner offers this, is easy to use ?

Thanks,

Sprinterke

Output to PDF isn't really a function of the scanner, it's a function
of the software.

While not the easiest option, it is relatively simple to scan images
into the OpenOffice 1.1 (www.openoffice.org) word processor, and it
has an option to export to PDF. Put a page break between each scan
and it's a multipage pdf. I'm not sure if the program's freeware
status extends to businesses though, so you might have to pay a
registration fee.

A consumer grade flatbed should have more than enough optical
resolution for this purpose and is likely your least expensive option
for hardware.
