I have a question: Is shopping on eCRATER for Windows 8 COA/Product Keys safe/legit?
Are those deals that are less than $50 scams or real(This includes Windows 7 and its other versions as well; They're my secondary options.)?
I understand that it uses Paypal for transaction(And I do have a Paypal account too), but I have never shopped on eCRATER before, so I don't know if it's safe or not simply because it sounds too good to be true(For me, that is).
I'm asking this question because I'm planning to install a new OS to replace/clean install my old Vista OS. Thank you for reading my thread and when answering, please have an explanation along with it; One-sentenced answers only complicate things more with unnecessary discussions.

Off-topic question: Why does the Windows 8 OS reccomend 1366 x 768 resolution for its monitors? I read on the official system requirements website that it's for the 'APPS' that I could care less about, but does that have any sort of inpact on a 1280 x 1024 monitor? If so, then I may as well go with Windows 7 anyways, regardless of its ending support at 2020. I only considered Windows 8 because it's speculated to be faster browsing and more power efficient than its predecessors but that's it.
