Short PSU question.

Simple question, I have a pretty shitty "500w" -12 / 10a PSU. I am receiving a new 750 ti this week, and I want to know if I should try to plug it now, or wait till I get a new PSU. Right now I'm using a gt 610, so maybe that can serve as a reference on what wattage I'm actually using.

Both cards call for 300 wat PSU's, so it shouldn't be a problem.
