My shortcut for my games keep turning blank. I know how to go into properties and change icon to get them back but it constantly happens. Any clue how to prevent this?????

Solution
My first thought is to be sure that you save or otherwise "apply" the changes.

If you go into the Shortcut Properties and look at the Change Icon buttons you will probably be able to note the differences with respect to the icons on your system.

Try making the changes again and watch how and when your system "loses" the icon of your choice. Could be that both Windows and the video game software are fightting over who is in charge of the icon to be used....
Not sure that I understand the problem. The icon is one thing. The shortcut path is another.

If you are not correctly establishing the required shortcut path then connectivity will fail.

Please provide more details: are the games online or internet? Who administers your router? Can you provide some examples of the pathnames you are using for your shortcut(s)?

Sorry Im talking about the shortcut for video games. Some of the games are steam some are from origins etc etc. There are times ill turn on my pc and the icon picture of the game that appears on the shortcut will be blank. To get the picture back I have to right click the blank shortcut and go to properties. Once in properties, I hit icon , then browse to find the image. What I am asking is why do my shortcuts keep loosing the picture of the video game?? Some of the games are online and some are not.
