So I built a new system for streaming games from my gaming PC. I was trying to attach a 3-pin splitter for 2 fans when one of the 3-pin male ends touched the case and it rebooted the PC. I powered the PC back on but the fan attached to the other male end would not spin. I ended up using a molex adapter to turn the fan on but I'm concerned about the condition of the board.

Needles to say, I'm not gonna get the respect of any of the elitist Youtube PC gurus with my cable management :p.

It sounds like that was the only damage, and you should be able to keep using it without incident. The only real downside is that you will have a very hard time selling that board in the future.

Thanks. Glad to hear mobo will be fine. No too worried about selling it, it'll probably become a server later anyways.
