I was building a PC for my partner's Step dad and I mistakenly tried to remove the SATA cable from one of the SATA ports, I heard a quick fizz and got myself a burn and a shock. Since then I can't get any SATA port with a new SATA cable to recognise any hard drives.
Is there any way to fix this or am I better off scrapping the mobo and getting a new one?
