Hello

I bought an i7 6700k in 2015 and 6 months later later, i replaced the intel CPU for a Cooler Master's Watercoling, Today, when i started cleaning my desktop, i noticed some weird "scratches" on the top, probably caused by the motherboard

i marked the "scratches" with 2 blue circles

On the back, it's seems the connectors are good (and cleaned)

Probably caused by this?

My question is, should i worry about this and send to RMA or not?

FYI some people actually remove that IHS (heat spreader) in a process called delidding in order to get direct contact with the cooler. So little chips on it means nothing if it not even being attached still causes no harm.
