Hey everybody, first post, go easy.....

I have been using this forum for tips and tricks for years but after a thorough search and google etc I cannot get an answer.

Basically i have HWinfo running when i do furmark.

My temperatures are fine and all is well with my ECGA SSC 960.

My query is should my CPU be at 100% while Furmark is running??

I have a G3258 Oc @4.4

I have run aida64 for 20 minutes just to check it
out and all is well so far.

I just want to know if CPU should be maxed out with Furmark because i want to run aida64 and furmark together but im scared until I find out the answer.

Please help!!

Well, there you go. Balance. Can't ask for more than that. Sounds like your CPU can max out the GPU, even though it is itself at max usage. In single player mode anyway.

In single player mode gaming it will do great, but when the CPU has to also handle the extra duties of multiplayer gaming tasks on a busy server, it will begin to bottleneck the gfx card.

Ideally, you want your CPU to have some headroom left over when the GPU is maxed out at 100% usage. If it were reversed, you'd have CPU bottleneck. In your case, your CPU is JUST fast enough to keep up with the card. At least in whatever app was running when the results were recorded.
