Question Should I add a 2 gpu for digital art, animation and gaming workstation pc?

Would it be possible to run an extra Asus Tuf gaming RTX 3070 gpu on my current pc build to use as a powerful workstation / gaming pc… (maya, 3d studio max, adobe photoshop and other digital art programs I'm using). I willing to save up too $1000 for a RTX 3090 though I can trade a old iphone 12 pro max on craigslists for a RTX 3070 GPU right now.

To make a dual GPU setup really worthy, you should consider some factors like

- Are your software optimized for dual GPU?

- Do your software use CPU more or GPU more?

- Do you need both GPU running all the time?

In most of the cases, a single high-end GPU is better than two GPUs.
