hello
first time posting on this pretty website :)
so I am new to pc world a friend offered to make me a pc
case cooler master mastercase 5
gpu https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GeForce-GDDR5-Graphics-GV-N960OC-4GD/dp/B013LDXPFO
cpu https://www.amazon.com/Intel-I5-6500-FC-LGA14C-Processor-BX80662I56500/dp/B010T6CWI2
ram https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-HyperX-FURY-2x8GB-1866MHz/dp/B00J8E8Y5C
power supply https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-WHITE-Warranty-Supply-100-W1-0500-KR/dp/B00H33SFJU
after I got it I filled it with games and guess what? I want a better gpu
then I found that I can add another one no need to get rid of mine and get another one
and her is my question should I do it ? I am worried about compatibility of 2 gpus and is it worth it ? I mean is it gonna be as strong as a gtx 980 for example and can my power supply and the other parts do fine with 2 gpus
please give me your opinion guys
many thanks :)

technically short answer is that your PSU wont support the SLI power requirement. I think you would need more of a 650watt or so PSU. so you could do psu+gpu. but it's quite an expensive upgrade. wouldve been a lot better to get a higher end card from the start, right now a 2nd 960 just doesnt really make much of a "financial" sense. Unless you could unload that 960 onto a friend (sell) and use that money to get a better card as single all together. you could run a single higher end card on that psu.

but financially it's a bit of a though call

Hey if you want to upgrade then do it. Now im not saying add another GTX 960. First i would highly recommend looking into a RX 480 or even a GTX 1060. They perform like a GTX 980 and can max out most triple a titles at a solid 60FPS. At a outstanding $240 for the 8GB . Now down the road you can always crossfire the RX 480s giving the GTX 1080 a run for its money. Thats where the GTX 1060 lacks. But hey Ideas ^^ . Good Luck
