Should I add more RAM to my rig?

I have a very humble rig. Intel i3 6100, Nvidea GTX 750 TI, and 4 gb RAM. I plan to buy a new 120 GB SSD on top of the 500 GB HDD and install Windows 10 plus one or two of my most played games in the SSD. Everything else will be placed in the HDD.

My question is: Will upgrading my RAM to 8 GB improve the performance of my games on this rig? I'm not ambitious; I plan to play them on low-medium settings. And I don't have the budget as of now to buy a new CPU or GPU. I can, however, afford more RAM.

I have novice knowledge of hardware, and I've read up on the limits of the i3 + 750 TI combo. But I'm not sure if adding more RAM will improve performance in any way.

Thankyou!

Both the i3 6100 & 750ti are capable still ifypudont expect anything past medium settings.

4gb ram though ??
Im not sure how you're managing With that amount under gaming environments.

Honestly , I'd up it to 8gb as soon as possible , that is a more sensible spend than adding an ssd even imo.

If I were you I would stick with 4GB for now and save for 16GB or a new GPU. I wouldn't make the jump to 8GB as this will mean upgrading again from 8GB to 16GB in the future.

Even 8GB would help performance a lot most recent games. RAM is priced quite high right now, and nearly all current games get along fine on 8GB still, so its questionable how much it would be worth buying more than you have to right now. Sure, some games coming out in the future will likely benefit from having more, but a graphics card upgrade would undoubtedly be far more important for such games anyway.
