Hey guys,

My PC never used to have this issue during games however one has developed during the past few months. For a few months I was playing a really low demanding game so there was no need for stress on my PC. However now I want to return and play PC games such as BF4 and DayZ and now I simply cant due to constant FPS drops and stuttering. I've done some research myself and THINK I've narrowed it down to bottlenecking? My CPU usage is very high (100%) while my GPU usage is lowish (40%-50%)

CPU : Intel Core i5 4570 3.2GHz (aftermarket air cooler)
Motherboard : AsRock B85M Pro
GPU : Sapphire 4GB R9 270x
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate

I am more than happy to provide any other information, any and all help is appreciated

Thanks

Hey,
If your CPU usage is still high, then open Task Manager- Processes, then find the program most responsible. There is a good chance it is not the game. Then, Google the name if you do not recognize it.

Malwarebytes is a good idea but it would be nice to be sure what is causing the problem first if possible.
A 4570 could even be paired with a 980ti and bottlenecking wouldn't be a big problem.
Maybe your GPU is not working properly or some kind of malware is putting load on your CPU.
You should try to update the GPU drivers and scan your system with malwarebytes.
