Should I be lagging on BF4 with this setup?

I posted here about a month ago with a similar question; However, i just upgraded my gpu.
My specs are:
AMD Athlon II x3 450 @3.2GHz (unlocked 4th core to Phenom II x4 B50 @3.2)
EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti BOOST 2GB
4GB PNY XLR8 CL8 RAM
Corsair CX600 PSU

I'm playing bf4 right now @1280x1024 and get some lag on conquest or big team deathmatch games. It doesn't seem like gpu lagging, because i maintain like 60-80 fps normally until it "spikes" or lags. Is my CPU the cause of this?? I thought my processor would be able to handle bf4 (on low settings right now btw).

Or do you think this is a driver problem.

Yes u are correct bf4 mp is very cpu intensive so and ur cpu is very old try turning down the settings to med and then see if its any better
