[SOLVED] Should I be worried that there are so many files under Windows/Temp? (124 GB)

I haven't cleaned it out since I built my PC back in 2017, so would it be normal to have the temp folder this full?
Is it safe to just delete all?

It should be safe to delete everything and if windows still need something it will protect that file if it’s in use

Thanks for the quick answer! However, is it normal for there to be that many files? Is there a way to see which programs are creating them?

Temporary files for various installs go there. The more stuff you install, the bigger temp folder will get. You can safely empty TEMP folder.
You can also use windows cleanup app. It cleans temp folder too.

Oh, I forgot to moment that the disk cleanup showed that there were very little spaced taken up by temp files. Maybe like 100 MB while the TEMP folder itself was 124 GB, so that made me think something was wrong. Thanks for the explanation!
