So I was told to transfer my windows 8.1 onto a usb because I recently ordered a new motherboard and that would obviously save me money from buying a new OS.
Well I did everything that I was told to do, followed the procedure via Microsoft website and everything downloaded smoothly onto my usb, but as I tried ejecting my USB later on in the night it was saying it was being and couldn't safely eject. I tried to figure out what it was before ultimately just ejecting it myself and now I'm worried that I might've corrupted the files or something even though yes Windows 8.1 had finished installing hours ago on it.
Should I be concerned or am I over thinking it? I was about to go to the lengths of deleting the files on it but I've heard its a rather annoying process to FULLY wipe the USB. Thoughts? :/
