Should I beware of bottlenecking when being gtx 1080TI?

Hey guys. Im looking for a new upgrade too my pc. Im considering buying a gtx 1080 TI graphic card but im not sure if my pc will bottleneck. My pc except GPU is from 2013 so its getting pretty old.
My pc build:
CPU: Intel core i7 4770k not overclocked
GPU: Geforce gtx 970
SSD: 250GB
HDD: 2tb seagate 7200rpm
PSU: 750W InWin
RAM: 16GB of Kingston hyperx
MOBO: Asus z87-a

So my question is. Is it worth upgrading only GPU or should I think about upgrading my whole pc? We are coming close to Black Friday so I guess I can get a pretty good amount of discount on everything! Thanks for your time

The CPU will be fine with a GTX 1080Ti.

4770k is still a very capable CPU, and I doubt it would hinder a 1080Ti too much if at all.

1080Ti is not something that you should be looking for.
The 1080 doesn't make anymore sense with the arrival of the 1070Ti.
So, the best option would be a GTX 1070Ti with your existing rig.
And overclocking your 4770K would yield much, much more frames. Trust me!

Yep 1080 Ti is perfectly fine if your playing at resolutions of 1440P and above, if your just playing at 1080P then a GTX 1070 (non TI) is best.

I was thinking about the same.. The reason why you think a gtx 1070 TI would be better is it because you think the value is better? Is it worth overclocking CPU? if I want to, I have to get water cooling right?

Im playing 1080p 144hz.. Why not the TI version of gtx 1070?

Would it be worth to wait to see what Nvidia has in their hand next year?? I guess its best to get a new card on Black Friday?

Im playing 1080p 144hz.. Why not the TI version of gtx 1070?

I didn't know you had 144hz. 1080P 60hz a GTX 1070 is the max you'll need.

But if your going 1080P 144hz, honestly just buy a GTX 1080. If you look at prices right now, the 1070 TI isn't going to be out for another week, plus the 1080s are cheaper, and the 1080s a have GDDR5X memory and more cuda cores.

EDIT: Actually the 1070 TIs and 1080s are identical in price, so yeah definitely go for a 1080 if you can.
