Hello, I'm thinking about building a PC but I want to make sure its worth my money, here's my build.

Motherboard: MSI A78M-E35

CPU: AMD Athlon 860K

Ram: 8GB Corsair Ram

HDD: WD Blue

PSU: 430W Corsair CX430

GPU: GTX 960

Would this build be able to play games for the next three years, or would it be worth my money to buy a Ps4?

Solution
It depends on what type of games you like to play and what other things you want to do with it. The PC will offer a bit superior graphics on 960 than on PS4 and you have the freedom to try more games. It is also more easy to play many game genres than on a console, since you can play with keyboard, mouse and also controller. Also games are more expensive on console, but they are more optimized.

I'll be using it mostly for gaming, and there aren't any games I really care about on PS4 but my friends have PS4 so thats why I'm considering it.

"Mostly"
A PS4 brings that to 'only'.

When I say mostly I mean I'll also stream movies from what ever device I get.

Do you know if my build will last three years?

Idk man. If I had a 4-way SLI system with 980's, my friends would come to me with awe wondering how I spent 2k on GPU's alone.

edit: I'd get the PS4. As much as I love PC gaming, the higher quality picture isn't worth having to play by yourself.

PC might be the better option, PS4 you require ps plus to play multiplayer in most games. PC you do not. And, twice as many titles...
I recommend PC
But look around and build a more detailed setup
the one supplied here isn't enough

I realize this is a super old thread but when I said buy the Ps4, I was assuming we were comparing a PS4 vs a similarly priced PC. For gaming, there's no comparison as long as the game is available for PS4.
