What resolution are you intending to use? If you're going high-end to try to get into 4K, the 4 GB of VRAM is a problem. Games like Far Cry 4, Battlefield 1, and Grand Theft Auto V already can go well over that when you're talking 4K.

Now days games are using more vram. So crossfire or sli on slower card will not do the job...If gaming is concern always go for single higher end card..don't go for better deal. If you can afford go for 1060 or higher cox you have a better cpu
