[SOLVED] should I buy a 1070 now or wait?

Hi, I currently have an i5-7500 and a GTX 1050 with 8GB RAM, and am looking to massively upgrade my GPU. I would like to spend approx £250, and am currently very tempted to purchase a used GTX 1070 for around that price. With the upcoming AMD releases (which could be nice with my FreeSync 144Hz) and possibility of a well-priced GTX 1160, should I buy the 1070 now, or wait for other cards to come out?

I am a strong believer that we will see a GTX 1180, GTX 1170, and a GTX 1160 this year. Basically same performance than the RTX cards but without Tensor and RTX cores. If, when, and how much exactly, I don't know. But if you need a card right now, and for that budget, you might as well go with the GTX 1070.
