Hi, I gonna build a new cpu with the items below, should i get a new cooler to replace intel stock cooler?

Processor: Intel i5-4460
Motherboard: Asus H81M
Graphic: Asus GTX 750 ti oc
Psu: CM Elite v2 550W
Hard disk: 1Tb
Memory: 8Gb
Casing: Cooler Master K380 with 2 fans

If need to change, any suggestion? Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo is it enough for me?

Solution
Naw it shouldn't damage it. You CPU will start throttling itself if it gets overly hot, and if it hits its max temp it'll shut itself down.

That said, if you're in the process of building up a computer then you might as well swap it out right now if budget allows. Your case allows for a max height of 155mm for the cooler, so make sure to keep that in mind. The Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo is 139mm so it'll fit. Its not something I'd overclock with but it will be better than the stock cooling and likely more quiet.

If you have them in your area, I'd look at some Cryorig series. The M9i is 125mm and cools better than the Hyper 212 Evo, so will cool better than the TX3 Evo as well. The H7 is bigger (145mm) and better cooler still, and...
At school we have built many systems, as powerful, or more than yours and all of the ones with locked CPUs run on stock coolers (in Florida, but with A/C)

The computer I'm working on here has a quadcore Xeon 1231v3 and a similar GPU, and runs just fine with a stock cooler.

Although the TX3 will do for what you want, if I were going to replace the stock cooler I would replace it with something 'serious', like a CRYORIG H7 or a RAIJINTEK Pallas which cost between $30 and $40 and are good enough that you could use them in your next computer for a decent overclock.
