Should I buy a car or a gaming PC?

So I'm sixteen and a junior. I want a car but if I spend like 3gs on it in the future I will have to spend all my pay checks paying insurance etc. So should I buy a gaming pc and then buy a car? I'm going to be spending like 3GS on either with the pc including extra accessories like monitors etc. But I still don't know how to drive and by the time I learn to drive and get my license I'll have enough money to buy a car. The 2nd plan sounds better but I think i need to think of the future not just ATM.

you could set up a high end pc for that price , i would get a pc (no insurance , fuel bill ,maintenence ...)

The question is this...Do you "need" a car or just want one? If there is no true need, then I would suggest waiting until you do actually require a vehicle. As you already noted, they are expensive to own and operate.

That being the case, $3k will buy a lot of computer. You could lower your budget to half of that and still build a heck of a rig while saving more for the future (and that car when you need it).

Post a thread in the systems section of the forum with your budget (do a 1.5k and a 3k build for comparison). List your requirements and you'll get tons of input on the possibilities.

No taxes, no need for buying fuel and so on
Plus many hours of entertainment with a gaming PC

Sorry I can't directly reply to you guys cause I'm in mobile but i plan on going to college and my pc is 1,800 the 3 grand budget is for other setup necessities.
