I have a desktop with a Pentium Gold G5400 CPU that has UHD 610 integrated
graphics. Would I see any significant speed or quality difference for just browsing and watching movies and youtube videos if I installed a dedicated graphics card of around the $50-$100 range ?

Solution
No, your integrated graphics is sufficient for browsing and video. A dedicated graphics card would only help you were doing something more graphics intensive such as gaming.

The only drawback to an HD610 is the lack of native HDMI 2.0 support, it is perfectly capable of H.265/HEVC Main10/Googles VP9 and Netflix 4K playback. If your heavily multitasking while streaming or during playback then the lack of cores on the CPU and the amount of RAM would be more of a factor than the GPU.

So would you see a difference in upgrading the GPU for streaming and playback? No.
