Question Should I buy a GTX 1070 or RTX 2060?

I"m building a new pc and i was wondering what graphics card i should get. I am stuck between the GTX 1070 and the RTX 2060. Does the fact that the RTX has less Vram means that it wont be as good in the near future because it won't have enough vram? IN the benchmarks it looks like the RTX runs better, but I am sceptical about the 6GB VRAM.... (I will have a 1080p 60 fps machine)
